When Will the November 2026 Visa Bulletin Be Released?

November 2026 visa bulletin official status check

Last checked: October 6, 2026. The November 2026 visa bulletin has not been published.

Short answer: The November 2026 visa bulletin does not yet appear in the official Department of State index. The index lists October 2026 as current and labels the upcoming bulletin “Coming Soon.” We will update this tracker after the Department publishes the new bulletin.

The government has not announced a fixed release date. Therefore, we will not predict a day based on prior months. Applicants should check the DOS bulletin first and then review the separate USCIS chart selection before planning an adjustment filing.

Where can you check the November 2026 visa bulletin?

First, the primary source is the Department of State Visa Bulletin index. However, search-result snippets and third-party graphics can lag behind the official page. In addition, an older bulletin may circulate without a clear month label.

Next, confirm the month and fiscal year in the page heading. The November 2026 bulletin will belong to fiscal year 2027. Then verify that any PDF and HTML version show the same month.

However, the DOS bulletin alone does not answer every adjustment question. USCIS separately identifies the chart that adjustment applicants may use each month. Accordingly, applicants should never assume that USCIS will automatically permit the Dates for Filing chart.

When does the November 2026 visa bulletin usually appear?

Similarly, the Department publishes a bulletin each month, but its public index does not promise one fixed publication day. As a result, last month’s release date cannot establish this month’s deadline.

Therefore, after publication, applicants must identify the preference category, chargeability area, and priority date. Notably, a cutoff can advance, remain unchanged, or retrogress. Furthermore, the table may display “C” for current or “U” for unavailable.

In other words, the practical reading process remains the same each month. Nevertheless, only the newly published table supplies the actual November dates.

How do Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing differ?

First, Final Action Dates govern when a visa number may support final approval or immigrant visa issuance. By contrast, Dates for Filing may allow an earlier filing or document-collection stage when the government authorizes that chart.

Meanwhile, USCIS chooses the adjustment chart each month. The DOS bulletin itself directs adjustment applicants to the USCIS chart-selection page. Therefore, use this sequence:

  1. Find the category and chargeability column in the DOS bulletin.
  2. Check the USCIS chart selection for that month.
  3. Compare the priority date with the selected cutoff.
  4. Review every other adjustment eligibility requirement.

However, a favorable date does not erase separate issues involving status, manner of entry, or admissibility. Thus, the chart is one part of the filing analysis.

What did the October 2026 tables show for Turkey?

For example, in the All Chargeability column, the October bulletin set the EB-2 Final Action Date at January 1, 2025, and the EB-2 Date for Filing at March 15, 2026. For EB-3, the dates were May 15, 2024, and August 1, 2024.

CategoryOctober Final ActionOctober Dates for Filing
EB-2January 1, 2025March 15, 2026
EB-3May 15, 2024August 1, 2024
Other WorkersJanuary 1, 2022June 1, 2022

In addition, USCIS allowed Dates for Filing for both family-sponsored and employment-based adjustment cases in October. However, that decision does not control November. Our October EB-2 retrogression analysis explains the prior month’s movement.

Which November 2026 visa bulletin column covers Turkey-born applicants?

Chargeability generally follows the country of birth, not citizenship. Because Turkey does not have a separately listed column in the October employment tables, most Turkey-born applicants use “All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed.”

Still, a spouse may sometimes use the other spouse’s country of birth through cross-chargeability. Admittedly, that rule requires a case-specific analysis. Consequently, selecting a column solely from the passport can produce the wrong result.

What should you do once the November 2026 visa bulletin appears?

First, verify the official link, month, and fiscal year. Next, locate the exact immigrant category. EB-2 and EB-3 dates are not interchangeable, and a move from H-1B to a green card can involve either one.

Then compare the priority date with the correct chargeability column. A listed date generally requires an earlier priority date. “C” means current for qualified applicants, while “U” means numbers are not authorized.

Meanwhile, for an I-485 filing, wait for the USCIS November chart selection. For consular processing, follow NVC and consular instructions. Finally, remember that favorable bulletin movement does not guarantee immediate interview scheduling or approval.

How does a sample priority date comparison work?

Assume a Turkey-born EB-2 applicant has a February 10, 2026 priority date. Because USCIS accepted Dates for Filing in October, that date falls before the March 15, 2026 cutoff. Therefore, the applicant appears to pass the date test for filing in that month.

However, the same priority date does not pass the January 1, 2025 Final Action cutoff. USCIS could accept an otherwise proper I-485, but it could not approve the case in October based on that date. Likewise, the applicant must meet every other adjustment requirement.

If the priority date were March 15, 2026, it would not qualify because the bulletin requires an earlier date. After DOS publishes November, applicants must repeat this comparison with the new table and USCIS selection.

Common mistakes

For example, one common mistake is treating an unofficial image as the government table. In addition, another is mixing the Final Action and Dates for Filing charts. Applicants also confuse citizenship with country of chargeability.

Moreover, October’s USCIS chart choice does not automatically carry into November. A final mistake is treating forward movement as an approval promise. Each filing still requires independent eligibility.

Short checklist

  • Open the official DOS index.
  • Confirm the month and fiscal year.
  • Identify the category and chargeability column.
  • Locate the priority date.
  • Check the monthly USCIS chart selection.
  • Review adjustment or consular eligibility.
  • Use current forms, editions, and the fees that apply from October 16, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is the November 2026 visa bulletin out?

No. As of October 6, 2026, the official index still lists October 2026 as current.

Will the November 2026 visa bulletin arrive on a fixed day?

No fixed public release day governs every month. Therefore, a specific date prediction would be unreliable.

Can anyone predict November 2026 visa bulletin EB-2 dates?

Commentators can discuss trends. Still, no official November cutoff exists until DOS publishes it.

Will USCIS use Dates for Filing in November?

USCIS has not announced that selection. Instead, applicants must wait for the monthly update.

Which column applies to a Turkish citizen?

Chargeability usually follows birthplace. Generally, Turkey-born applicants use the All Chargeability column, regardless of citizenship.

Is a priority date equal to the cutoff current?

No. In short, the bulletin requires a priority date earlier than the listed cutoff.

Conclusion: read the November 2026 visa bulletin with the USCIS chart

The November 2026 visa bulletin is not yet available. Therefore, after publication, applicants should read the DOS table together with the USCIS chart selection. Meanwhile, they should avoid unofficial November dates and fixed release predictions.
